Last Night

Yesterday proved to be a day that was somewhat different. My long drawn out battle with technology has finally drawn to a standstill. Well, sort of. I conceded do create this blog( this one in case you were wasting your precious brain cells thinking about it) and found myself in awe and if I'm being honest, very intimidated in the amount of gadjects, applications, add-ons and what-you-will that I found myself suddenly floating in. Of course, me being who I am, floundered. Surprise, surprise. One hopes that this will not be for too long.

This will be a blog about interests. Any and all that captivate me. Be warned. Protective gear is advised.

One follower Ian Hewett, someone I met on twitter and has generously followed me here deserves to be mentioned. Whoever stumbles upon this post should click-ity-ti on his links including the one at the beginning. Here they are: Destinauts and DystopianFuchsia . Long live shameless promoting.

Following the Disaster ( deserves capital the event) as we'll now call the birthday of my blog, I found myself exploring other applications with little or close to no idea what they would actually do. Hence the state of my Internet window, that if you squint and tilt you head to the left a few degrees, you can actually read a whole sentence. It's that cluttered. Which leads me to think that I may have made a mistake. Just perhaps....

Despite this, I could actually carry on with my day! Imagine the surprise! After conceding this battle to the superior powers that technology hails from, I turned off the computer and went in search of the next best thing to occupy myself.

Completely bypassing the clearly cluttered and messy seating area, almost stubbing my toe in the coffee table, tripping on a exposed TV cable (don't ask!), just when I found myself almost sighing with relief I looked down and see the whole of the kitchen area a COMPLETE AND TOTAL WAR ZONE. I went just about Cuckoo! For many who would assume I am a clean freak or something completely in line with it, I am not. You can see from I wrote in the beginning, evidence might have been found in said living/seating area. Just scant minutes ago, perhaps 30, I cleaned the cursed kitchen from top to bottom, left right, scrub-a-dub kind of it too! I just about pulled my hair out. The culprit you ask? Well, we'll get to it.

Dad's home.

After cleaning it up one more time, I abducted the TV. Logical, right?

That's when I remembered that tonight was going to be the last episode of Game of Thrones. And it was 21:16. I MISSED IT. Technology rears it's ugly, arrogant head and I realised that Sky took care of it. I put it on record series before. After having calmed down from a mini heart attack (who really knew I had one?) I sat down and watched it. IT. WAS. BRILLIANT. Will I be able to wait for the 2nd season? Daft bint, of course.

Thanks for reading and until we meet again. Apologies. :)
